What is Psoriasis?
Psoriasis is a condition affecting the skin that causes red flaky patches of skin on the body. These patches can appear anywhere on the body.
It is an autoimmune condition that causes a rapid build-up of skin cells on the body. this buildup causes scaling on the surface. Inflammation and itchiness are common. Typical symptoms include red and raised patches of inflamed skin, itching and burning sensation of the affected area, painful or swollen joints and thick, pitted nails.
