Q. Why is it so cheap?
A. We use placement counsellors who work out of the clinic. The charges are for room rent, admin, and a part of the counsellors’ supervision fees.

Q. What is a placement counsellor?
Placement counsellors are counsellors who have completed level 4 training (an advanced Diploma usually taking around three years) in the classroom. They are then required to return either 50 or 100 hours to the community. 

Q. How many sessions do I get?
A. The counsellor will discuss this with you, but it can be open-ended

Q. Can anyone access this service?
A. On intake, a therapist will offer you an initial assessment to discuss your particular circumstances. We will explain the process further depending on your specific needs.

Q. Is this face-to-face or telephone counselling?
A. Although we prefer face-to-face counselling, we understand that not everyone can make it to Paignton, so we also offer online or telephone counselling.

Q. Do you offer anything other than counselling?
A. Yes, we also have placement hypnotherapists who have been trained at The Devon School of Hypnotherapy
