Elizabeth Adamson - Psychotherapist

Highly Qualified, Trauma-Informed, and Committed to Safe Practice

Hello, my name is Elizabeth Adamson. I work with the Devon Clinic alongside my online and mobile practice, supporting both young people and adults with their mental health and emotional well-being.
I believe in the strong connection between mind and body, and that by understanding our thoughts and emotions we can create meaningful, lasting change. My aim is to offer a calm, empathetic and non-judgmental space where you can explore challenges and build confidence in your own ability to grow.
My approach is holistic and person-centred, integrating Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotional Freedom Technique, mindfulness, breathing and relaxation techniques to create a supportive and personalised experience.
I have experience within the NHS IAPT programme specialising in CBT for anxiety and depression, as well as extensive work supporting autistic and ADHD children and their parents through both therapeutic work and alternative education settings.

I am ethically responsible to the British Psychological Society (GMBPsS – 390317) and Enhanced DBS checked.

Session rates:

  • for under 18’s = £45
  • over 18’s = £55
I offer a free 30-minute, no-obligation phone consultation. I believe the foundation of effective therapy is a trusting relationship, and this time allows you to get a feel for how we might work together and whether it feels like the right fit for you.
